Holy **** this match would be ****ing intense. I think it would literally be the most intense, nerve wracking fight that could possibly be made. The insanity of Wilder becoming undisputed.... the absolute certainty of a brutal KO.... AJ being vulnerable due to being relatively slow vs Wilder's range power, and Wilder being vulnerable to AJ's close range combinations... Who'd win this? P.S. I know there's a good chance it may never happen due to Wilder bitching out, but lets just say hypothetically....
Wilder will retire after Fury 3 regardless of result. Might fight at the American level for a bit but I can't see him suddenly coming out of his shell at 35-36 after the Fury loss(es) and taking on the world. Even still, he has a good chance against AJ, but I don't rate either too highly.
Wilder as I expect he is, I think he's the one who gets KO'd. A hypothetical Wilder who just beat Fury has a great chance though. He's just starting to fade while AJ is maturing.
I honestly think AJ has something of an advantage since he can counter and dish out an absurd amount of damage. The one issue is that he really tends to stand in front of people.
This fight is more likely if Wilder loses. If Wilder wins, he's going back to fighting fat soccer moms and hobos. Now, If Wilder loses, his management might want to cash him out. They can throw him in there with AJ who can make it a big money fight in the UK.
