If AJ wins rematch should there be trilogy?

Yup. They could do the trilogy fight on the undercard of Wilder vs. Stiverne III.

 

It depends on the manner of the second fight. If he dominates from start to finish and ends with a brutal ko of Ruiz then I doubt it. However I don't see that happening. The rematch is 50/50 maybe even 60/40 in favour of Ruiz.

The more I watched the fight again, the more I see AJ was completely dominated. He didn't take Ruiz lightly, he was in top form.

He had plenty of time to recover, but he was just hit too hard and too often by Ruiz. He got broken down fair and square.

A third fight won't be warranted, because Big Andy will turn Joshua over a second time, and will likely do it even more emphatically with a 12 week camp behind him. This, plus Joshua's fragile psyche, shaky whiskers and inability to actuate whatever instructions McCracken gives him in between rounds, will see Joshua mentally crumble under Ruiz's irrepressible onslaught once more.
