Would he be seen as a great fighter? He made his name and reputation fighting great heavyweight s and most of the time beating em.
But the level of competition these last ten years or so is hardly being inspiring, so would Muhammad perhaps not be seen as such a great fighter?

In the final ten years of Ali`s career he beat Frazier, Foreman and Norton, Usyk is better than Norton was, AJ is better than 90% of the boxers Ali beat in the 70`s, Wilder is more powerful than anybody Ali faced in the 70`s aside from Shavers, Ruiz has faster hands than anybody Ali beat in the 70`s aside from Patterson, having said this, Spinks had better head movement than Any heavyweight active now aside from Usyk, Fury is harder to hit than Spinks but only when moving backwards, he would have beaten Spinks though due to his size, why am I making these random comments? Simple, your post is too simplistic. Boxing was very good in the past and started going downhill at a certain point, but now boxing is getting better, it`s better than it was 5 years ago when most boxers were awful.

Ali`s competition in the 60`s wasn`t that good, Liston had the reach to cause problems now, but Ali`s other opponents from that era would struggle because most of them were too small to make an impact now, they weren`t as savvy as Usyk and a lot of them were smaller than Usyk too.

He'd beat anybody out there. UD Fury, Ruiz, and Wilder. AJ would be stopped in 12.

He beats most of the heavyweights now, the only problem I see is Fury and that's purely on size, Usyk showed size doesn't matter so that's why I still have Ali beating Fury. Mostly UD's imo.

You missed somebody out, the guy that out-classed AJ.

Don't see to many troubling Ali apart from Fury. He'd stop Wilder late on, same goes Joshua.

Usyk has proven he`s beter than AJ and Ali would hit Wildder a lot more tyhan he would have hit Usyk, Wilder fights like he`s on stilts.

Ali beats a lot of the guys today because he was overflowing in things that a lot of today’s fighters are lacking in and that is heart, courage, desire, and an unflappable will. Ali’s speed and movement were special attributes that would trouble anyone but his mental strengths are what made exceptional. Mike Tyson said it perfectly , he said outside Ali looked like a model but inside he was a savage.
