If Muhammed Ali has publically supported Malcolm X. Could Ali have possibly have been assasinated as well?

I don't know about being bumped off,but Elijah Muhammad would have found some way to discredit Ali.

He was called Cassius X by some, I believe the feeling at the time of Malcolm X's death, was very much Ali could be next...

He was far too much of a loved figure of the African-American community and far too easy to be manipulated psychologically for the Nation to dispose of Ali. Ali was perceived as an asset to the Nation, as opposed to a problem like Mal X.

Ali meet Malcolm X, and supported him. Malcolm X was assassinated by his own people.

Yes, but also at one time Malcolm X was THE bright shinning star of the Nation of Islam. Thier greatest asset if you will...

Malcolm exposed Elijah's womanising but Elijah wasn't the only person who wanted him dead, the CIA wanted his blood for 1

Cassius Clay was given a name (Muhammad Ali) very quickly. He wasn't Cassius X for long. It was his status as a top boxer and public figure that allowed for this. Malcolm didn't even have a name yet. I'm a big fan but let's face it, he was manipulated very easily at first. He was a pawn. Angelo Dundee advised him not to go public with the name Muhammad Ali until after winning the title... he did just that on 2/26/64... the day after he beat Liston for the title.

Small possibility, but as mentioned before, Ali was easy to manipulate at that time.

Well yes but my point was that Ali was easily manipulated and continued to be manipulated, Malcolm wasn't.

Ali engaged people's emotions. Malcolm engaged people's brains (and emotions).

We'll never know IMO, there's prob enough material out there on this thread subject to write a book and then for someone else to come along and write a book countering the conclusions of the first book.

Don't think so, Muhammad was too popular a figure for that. But, on a certain level, he would've been gotten too, and discredited.
