If Ali Was Fighting Today -How Superior Would He Look?

    Or not? With out fighting alongside Frazier, Foreman, Norton etc, how different would we view him? Is the modern Era a feast for Muhammed, or an absolute nightmare??

    I’d assume the only heavyweights of the last 20 years that would have had a chance of beating him when he was close to his best would be Lewis, The Klitschko Brothers, Tyson Fury and maybe Joshua.

    The 60s Ali & early 70s might have been successful, but I’m convinced post Manila Ali gets knocked out multiple times in brutal fashion.

    One thing is for sure If the Ali of the Holmes fight ever fought in this era he’d definitely get knocked out

    Ali schooled Liston and Foreman, but you give Joshua any chances? Joshua won't touch Ali.

    To be honest, the only heavyweight s that have been around in the past twenty years I see beating him are, Lewis and Holyfield and can't make my mind up about Tyson Fury!.
    Lewis, just because he had so much going for him and if he's up for the win there's no stopping him.
    Holyfield could get an hard fought victory but would maybe be lucky to repeat it.
    Tyson Fury, oh where do you start. If he comes focused and mean? Still undecided.

    He wouldn’t look too good, I think he could make top 10 today but definitely not top 5, however I do think he could badly school wilder

    Lewis and Vitali had chances to beat Ali. Holyfield would last 12 but lose a decision. Holmes loses by KO.

    You know who might give Ali problems? Chris Byrd. About the same size and Byrd may be quicker.

    The run up to Ali Fury would have been insane. What nickname would Ali give Fury? Would Furys crazy trash talking effect Ali?

    So I based my post on the idea that Ali would have been starting out in the 2000s. I know that wasn’t stipulated, but if you think honestly think it’s plausible that Anthony Joshua wouldn’t beat ten tonnes of crap out of a post Manila Ali then you’re delusional
