the obvious picks are the strongest guys... foreman, vitali,lewis, tyson would have been a great street fighter too, i like dempsey here too, i think that dempsey was overrated as boxer, but he was a great street fighter, he had a natural killer instinct. ali would do it much better than many people think, but he could not handle the strongest guys without gloves. jack johnson too

 

one can argue of just how great dempsey was as a boxer. but as a street fighter there is no arguement at all; he was a great great street fighter. kearns thought that jack johnson was the best heavyweight ever, but dempsey was the greatest barroom brawler of all time
