Excellent post. Very right on. Lewis and Vitali are bad picks. Lewis got thrown around by his smaller sparring partner in preparation for the Holyfield fight. Okay, his partner knew Jujitsu but he throw him around with ease. Vitali came back and said "I'm not the guy to **** with" and then he got thrown back to the ground. Lewis didn't like getting punched in the face he commented how if him and Holy went to the stage to make a speech who would sound more intelligent.

Don't underestimate Jeffries or Sullivan, though.

    Jeffries is the dark horse.

I'm thinking Foreman, Sullivan, Marciano, Liston, and Dempsey would be the best picks.

Foreman because he is arguably the strongest and hardest hitting heavyweight champion of all time, and has a lot of street fighting background.

Sullivan doesn't really need an explanation.

Marciano because he also has a lot of street fighting background, but what I think really pulls him through is his 1 punch KO power, stamina, chin, and heart. It makes it much easier in a fight if only 1 or 2 punches are thrown and you have the other guy out cold, which is what Marciano could do. His chin, heart, and stamina would come into play as he would be hit hard and often, and be involved in many fights.

Liston also does not really need an explanation.

Dempsey, again, does not need an explanation.

Ali has a chance to survive a long time. Only problem is he has tons of enemies lol. Frazier would be chasing Ali all over the room.

Listening to all the theories and picks, my money is going to be split between Jack Johnson and Bob Fitzsimmons.

Jack Johnson is experienced in battle Royals and has a massive advantage over everyone in this regard. He also matches up solidly with most, and as hated as he was, I dont see many ganging up on him. And he has a better idea than anyone of what is and isnt the best tactical approach to these type of matches.

Fitzsimmons has the appearance and look to be able to stay out of harms way for most of the fight, and when he does engage, he has one punch ko power to finish things quickly and a style which conserves energy. He would come on strong lately and at probably 500 to 1 odds he is an awesome bet. Some of the modern big guns might have some hand problems. Tyson for example is known to have broke his hand on mitch greens nose. Imagine what jeffries skull might do to it!. Fitz wouldnt need to engage early and he would have a field day late when the big behemoths are falling over themselves.

No one touches Morrison out of fear of AIDS. (assuming the wbo titlist are admitted to this room). Ali would have weird tricks up his sleeve to buy him some time. Seriously tho, Foreman if no one puts medicine in his water.

Not sure if prime Foreman would last once he gases, I dont think he make it far, Not with 40 plus other men, and after 4 rounds worth of fighting, I pretty sure Foreman would start to fade. Watch Foreman vs the 5, and one gets the ideal on this.

Foreman blow the first few guys away, but once the later guys came, they all went the distant with big George, now up there talents and make em all legends of the ring in Dempsey, Louis, Marciano and Johnson, plus 40 other big time boxers, and Foreman's chances goes to slim.

I'd bet on Foreman. He's so freakishly strong, if he gets his hands on you he could fold you up like a shirt, besides that he is durable and has knockout power.

But most of all, I think intimidation counts. All these men are frightening, but if given the choice, and Foreman was standing somewhere in a corner with his back to the wall, whoever picks up that glove deserves a medal.

Bruce Seldon would faint at the first whiff of aggression and be unconscious before anyone actually touches him. Maybe he wakes up after everyone else beats each other to death and he escapes unharmed.
