I suspect that a cool head could go a long way in this scenario.

Kick boxing takes a lot of toughness Pete. Vitali was amateur and pro champion, and a very brutal competitor in kick boxing. Have you ever seen him in action there? Also Manny Steward said Vitali is the most intimidating he seen outside of Liston and Tyson.

Tunney screwed? He was a Marine, and extremely tough. Tunney went 15 with Greb with a smashed nose, and cut eyes courtesy of a Greb head butt in round one.

Who makes it out is hard to say. Likely the smarter fighters like Vitali or Tunney with combat experience outside of boxing who will wait for the right time to make their move.

Vitali is huge enough to do well here, but I doubt he had a street fight in his life, ditto his brother..Tunney never saw combat ,he landed in France ,and the Armistice was signed before he could reach the front.Jeffries has the strength and durability ,but lacks the explosiveness .Dempsey is my favourite.

Well he's wrong. Foreman was far more intimidating than Vitali. Nobody is intimidated by a guy that flops around. Certainly Lewis would be more timid or scarred against Foreman, Liston, or Tyson than Vitali.

His style and size won't work in this situation. That's why most aren't picking Ali, either. :good

    GTFO

Stop with your Vitali agenda. The guy quit against Byrd he ain't making it out of the room with the toughest, baddest, strongest, and best fighters in HW division.

The closest person to actually have been in that situation is Johnson. If I remember correctly I think they also fought with their eyes covered. Either way, Johnson has the most experience in this situation by far.

james figg, no question. he'd pull a blade from his belt and go to town. figg taught sword fighting as well and he'd know how to get out of a situation like that.

Honestly, If I had cash on the champs at the weights they were when they were at thier peake, I would select Lennox Lewis as my probable favotite to stroll on out of thier unscathed........... For a big man he was so intelligent and strong...... Too strong for the old timers unfortunately, even through evolution p 4 p it could be different..

In terms of physical advantages and intelligence he'd be right up there. I don't know if he has the personality for something like this, but against Vitali he showed us he's not afraid to get in the trenches and is willing to take a punch to give one. I've also heard his strength surprises a lot of fighters, so he'd be hard to discount. However, the flip side, is prision life is pretty much taylor made to this type of contest and the Tyson's and the Liston's know how the tricks you don't learn at boxing school. And Foreman, well he just hits like a truck, no gloves on and bones are breaking.

Maybe you move in diferent circles to me.

I knew this guy in the army and he knew how to do it verry quickly and with verry little force.
