    What would your prediction be?

I think it can go either way with a split decision.

Khan may have a questionable chin and has to work on his defence but he's got serious talent and speed in bags.

    Pacman KO 1

Either way by decision? You ever watched either man fight or you just been reading articles? Pacman has knockout power in both hands, and Amir has glass on both sides of his jaw. He has been knocked down twice by C level fighters, and Manny isn't just a hard hitting A+ fighter, he's also got ridicliously fast hands and his staminia is proven. Amir Khan has never been in a fighter even remotely close to the quality of Manny, and he would be blown out in the first round.

It's a complete mismatch at this point in time. Khan would get sparked out within 5.

    **** sake. **SIGH**

As it stands Pac would KO Khan fairly easily which would be no great achievement considering his lack of experience & age.

In a few years with the right sparring & a defensive coach Khan will definitely be able to compete at elite level.

"Serious talent & speed in bags" is all well & good but must be honed properly to be effective. Khan is not there yet, give him time.

I don't see how Amir will compete at elite level at any point during his career. He goes down easily, the competition at lightweight is fierce, and it's already about time he stepped up in competition. Amir Khan will be Herbie Hide revisited.

He's been down twice, the last was a flash knockdown. If you cant see the kid is talented you either don't know boxing or have a seperate agenda.

Talent alone isn't enough in this sport. You can have the fastest hands and knockout power, but you need a heart and the ability to stay on your feet with it. Amir Khan has been down against domestic level operators, all of which wouldn't last half around against any of the elite level operators at lightweight. Sometimes a fighter can only go so far, and unfortunately for Amir Khan, his weakness seems to be his chin whether your like it or not. A future P4P fighter should not be having this much trouble with "domestic" opponents. Michael Gomez was shot to peices and yet he still hurt Khan on two seperate occasions.

Goodluck to Amir Khan, but I don't see how this kid can be competitive with the likes of Guzman, Marquez, Pacman, or Campbell. Just ain't happening.

Well he showed heart in both those fights. There have been many fighters who have overcome not having the best of chins. No way is his chin as bad as Hide's who has probably knocked himself out shaving.

How do you define "shot to pieces"? If Gomez is then that would make a lot of fighters "shot to pieces". You say you don't see how he can be competitive yet you are showing a distinct lack of technical knowledge of the sport in your posts. Hence the sweeping statements.

Katsidis would spark Amir Khan just as Manny would. Marquez would give a horrendous beating on the way to a TKO, and so would Campbell and Guzman. Amir Khan is not in there league.

Loads of elite fighters have been down against **** fighters. Felix Trinidad for one. He got back up twice and knocked both guys out.

I'm not going to get in a pretentious arguement over which of us has "a distinct lack of technical knowledge of the sport".

Give me your list of great fighters who overcame having a suspect chin.
