Where would be the ideal promotion company or promoter to go to? I think Amirs upcoming fight against Kotelnik is great because although not majorly skilled hes a come forward fighter and will pressurize Khan, it will be a tougher fight than M.A. Barrera and im glad its been made, even Khan admitted it would have been better to move up a weight because hes not ready for the likes of Marquez and so on, although he has stated he may move down for a Prescott rematch if he can win and defend the WBA LWW title, but i seriously hate the fact that FW pampers and spoils him, after Khan was KO'd i gained respect for him because he made himself a contender, he changed everything because he didnt want to be the 'hyped up british superstar'... but i feel that FW will stop him getting a rematch with Breidis Prescott and will not progress his career properly. If he does win the title in June, i can see a couple of easy defences being made for him but then id like to see the likes of T. Bradley or someone fight him, then if all goes well, move down and rematch Prescott.. cause theres a potential chance that he will be the WBC LW champion by then if he beats Valero, Khan wants that rematch but F. Warren is gonna pamper the guy and give him 'tough contenders' to beat up on, i really hope not. I like the Khan of post-Prescott, a much more of a contenders attitude.
He is getting a title shot because they are milking him as fast as possible. They are cashing his chips in before he gets knocked out again. He doesn't have what it takes.
Thats the thing, we dont know if he does, in my opinion he has the speed, stamina and the heart, Freddie Roach will give him ring craft and knowledge to improve him, but i agree that its being done too soon and he should learn his trade a bit more first, i dont see him being one of the best, but see him being a good champion for a short period in LW and LWW definitely.
I don't think he can leave Warren - ever Apparently during the count-out against Prescott he agreed a verbal life-long contract extension
