...should he fight? Let's assume all of the above would remain unbeaten in the meantime...

Probably Bute, click that last belt.

Then move back up and face Dawson or Woods and call it a day.

Man I had a really hard time picking between pavlik and wright Pavlik for obvious reasons but I went with wright simply because he is so overrated by some that there is a ton of people on here that would pick him to beat Joe.

Kelly Pavlik, because he'd get most props for it, it would be such an easy nights work, and it would look spectacular. Joe would look great whooping his ass

That's not to say he's the toughest opponent on that list, far from it

:nono He wouldn't get most props for beating Pavlik, who is a MW, at SMW, when there are other good SMW on offer.

I wasn't so much arguing against Pavlik on the grounds of how good or not he was, but on the basis of him being a MW, a weight below Calzaghe...beating a smaller guy never looks that good as beating a guy your own size.

For example, Pavlik, when he fought at 164, came in at, what? 170 on the night, tops? Or was it just 168?? Cannot remember. Bute, a SMW, for example, comes in at 183, and that is no exaggeration.

    Anyway...most props or not...who cares...it wasn't the question I asked...

Looks like most posters, by a mile, vote for Pavlik! Probably not just Americans who think the world of Pavlik, but also Calzaghe fans, who want to see him beat the undisputed middle-weight champion.:think
