Hmmm...although...surely, more respect for beating big SMW like Kessler and Bute, right? But that is beside the point...

Pavlik is the obvious choice! Not the best fighter out of the bunch, but the biggest name right now.

True...and we all know that you get more props for beating a known name than a lesser known name, even if everything else is equal. It's natural.

Calzaghe already said that he would fancy that match with Pavlik but I'm afraid Roy is gonna jump on him until he provides him with the payday in Wales. Joe Calzaghe vs Kelly Pavlik at 168 would be a tremendous fight!

Bute is not a big risk fight. He has made for Calzaghe written all over him.

He wont fight Kessler again not because of the risk but because what would be the point?

Dawson needs to get his name about fast to make it a possibility.

He will only fight once more after Hops and he has already said he wants Pavlik, if that dont come off RJJ is by far the most likely... a huge name that would get the PPV buys without the huge risks.

Who ever brings the most dollar.
He only interested in fighting for big money now as he have shown the world he`s the best boxer at smw so all the other fighters who cares none of them are harder than Calzaghe so it`s down now to the guys with the most cash on the table. If Roy Jones brings it then thats who he`ll fight and so on, dont matter who the fighter will be. Big Money:p

    Pavlik for Fame
    Roy Jones for money
Bute for belts and a recognition as one of the greatest SMW.

I never considered Lacy the 168 pound Tyson.Far from it.

I think(some) Americans did but nobody else were that stupid.

I also dont think Lacy is a bum.The bad shoulder injury hasnt helped with public's perception on him though. It has contributed alot to his recent poor showings.

I dont take the bookies odds to seriously.Miranda was suppose to have way too much power for the skinny white guy who has fought nobodies. Now look where the two have gone:deal

Calzage will never get the respect that he deserves here in the states. If he did beat pavlik people will just write it off as him beating a crude overblown middleweight.
