two big wins=cotto and williams(assuming he wins his next fight and fight one of the top guys at 147). I'd say beat margarito too just to shut some peeps' mouths once and for all then one more fight at 154 then retire.

Yeah maybe he could be successful at 160, but why bother? Floyd should go clean up the heavyweight division!! I'm sure he could. People would say "he's too small". But hell, Valuev is only 9, 656 meters taller than him. I bet Floyd could just school him regardless of height.

Maskaev, Ibragimov, are easy victories for Floyd as well.

The only thing I'm worried about is Wlad though. He has a terrible chin, so with Floyd's cyborg/superhuman body body, he could probably knock him out. However, Wlad is very strong an might be able to hurt Floyd on his way in.

I just feel that even though Floyd is only 30 now, with all of the injuries he's had, he won't last much longer. So rather than dominating 160, 168, 175 etc et, he should just immediately put on 100 lbs an join the heavyweights.

Two points to make here -

    He didn't clean out 147 for ****.

    AND -

At 154, he got an SD over an old-man De La Hoya who could've won the fight if he had kept using his jab and didn't gas out like an old man.

DLH isn't even the best guy at 154, anyways.

THIS is the problem with cherrypicking your way through weight classes! It lets people formulate arguments like this.

Pavliik would end floyd's career, maybe his life, in under 5 rounds.

I must agree with you for once Lance, unbeatable floyd is on another level of nutthugging. Him fighting at 160 I would love 2 see, but I dont think thats the weight division for him. He cant beat Pavlik, so any other fight is stupid for him b/c hes gonna want 2 fight the recognized champ for big money, and outside of Pavlik there wouldnt ba big money fight. And him against Pavlik isnt looking 2 good 4 Floyd. 2 much weight 4 floyd 2 b, all though if he went to middleweight I would love 2 see it. But i ever doubt he ever goes back to 54.

 he cherrypicked through weight classes, yet beat the champion at 130 (hernandez), 135 (castillo), 140 (hatton), 147 (baldomir)...

so how exactly can you cherrypick and beat the champions of four divisions? :rofl

Cherrypicking would be 130 (forbes), 135 (dorin), 140 (mbaye) and 147 (collazo).

I think Floyd would be sucesful because he would just pick out the weakest opponent he could find and beat them by UD and claim to be 'the man' just like in all the other divisions.

Castillo was robbed, Hatton outweighed, and Baldomir (only fought Clottey who hurt him worse than Floyd but was robbed in the process).

Yes its still cherrypicking, its not like he went into anyones back yard and took the titles. he picked the easiest route to get a title and move on (he is not alone in doing this by the waym but does deserev ridicue the same as the otehrs get) He didnt beat Hatton at Hattons best weight either,

and in the same way that people laugh when some folks say that they had Hatton a point ahead after 6 and they say "you dont know **** about how to score a fight" , by teh same token and rules of scoring then you cant possibly say that Castillo didnt win their first fight

Ya', he's just a skinny little kid that's able to "wow" some people by beating a midget.
If he ventures into the 160lb class, esp. with Pavlik,he ends up face down.:tired

    Most feel Castillo was robbed.

I dont think Floyd has fought at 140 for a long time. He looked way bigger than Hatton and weighed in at 147 and against DLH Floyd weighed 150.

Clottey hurt Baldi more than Floyd did

He could probably beat Sturm, but he would be killed by both Pavlik and Abraham. Pavlik would overwhelm PBF with this workrate, Abraham would back him up in a corner and knock him out brutally.
