If Anderson fights anyone but Chael, is it fair to say he's ducking Chael???

As I recall, Silva caught him with a punch then took his back and choked him out. You may be thinking of Travis Lutter, who he triangled.

It's been a fair while since I watched that fight and I certainly remember that strikes started it. My recollection was that they scrambled on the ground, Hendo tried to smother him and Anderson took his back and got the RNC. But as I said, it's been a while and I've only seen it once. It could easily have gotten hazy in my mind. :good

I haven't seen that fight so I can't comment at all on it. I saw it on his record but I'm not going to start making statements about the way a fight panned out based on a one-line Wiki result. :good

The biggest fight according to who? WWE like fans? I'm a fight fan, not a WWE child.

You keep talking about Anderson's win over Henderson? Why? Henderson had Silva on the ground, but Silva was able to get back to his feet, tag Henderson then take his back and win via rear naked choke. Anderson hurt Henderson with strikes and finished with the sub, no easy task to hurt Henderson or to sub him..

The most interesting fight is the one where the champion fights the next best contender. I think it's Munoz right now. I think because Chael lost via sub, again. He should have to fight someone else who is up for a title shot. It might be Maia, it might be Pahlhares. We all know Chael will have an easy time with a more or less one dimensional striker, but he will struggle with a submissions fighter.. If Chael gets matched with a guy who is defenseless on the ground, then what's the point other than simply hyping him up? :think

He lost in his title shot, he got busted for cheating. He needs to prove himself worthy of a title shot. That means getting back in line. To me, I think he's already halfway there which is generous imo. I recognize he is a threat to Silva, but I also think he needs to prove himself worthy of a title shot by taking on and beating other contenders, just like everyone else has to do.

Outside of Sonnen or maybe Munoz now, who else even deserves a shot?

And no it's not ducking, but I certainly think there's enough interest a rematch to warrant the fight. It's an easy fight to sell too, so I'm sure it's the fight we'll get.

MMA ain't boxing. When Zuffa tells Anderson it's time to rematch Chael, he's going to have do it. End of story.

Sonnen beat on Anderson for 4 and a half rounds.

There is no question that this fight needs a rematch. The only people who don't want to see it are Anderson fans scared of it happening again... for 2 minutes longer than last time.

I'm a huge Silva fan.. but **** if I don't want to see this fight. If you don't want to see the fight you're a dolt.
