Kesslers ego getting shattered had nothing to do with Calzaghes pillow fists it was more down to his ring IQ and persistant pressure and stamina

People forget that Ward wouldnt be the young man that he is now and would be alot older to rack up a 46-0 resume and I doubt he could fight the same level of comp and do it.
Ward is in a weak era and was looking gassed at the end against slow plodder Froch and was being bust up by Bika in the 12th round. I doubt Ward would have taken hard shots off of Lacy and stayed up. Its all about hype and Lacy looked far more dangerous than Ward and was tipped for greatness.
Im not convinced Ward would have beaten prime undefeated Kessler when he wasnt suffering double vision, I couldnt imagine Ward beating Eubank. I think the fired up R Reid if he was fighting angry would beat Ward.
I doubt a 36 year old Ward would beat the 43 year old Hopkins or 39 year old Jones.
Ward looked troubled by rusty Bika, let alone the fresh active one that Calzaghe handled easier

ward already lost to a worse version of bika on any fair neutrals scorecard so the answer is clearly no.

Damn man, now if you actually look at it...I actually think Ward would go through Calz. resume and remain unbeaten...Now that Ward has fought some decent fighters.

I'm inclined to disagree with on the Hopkins fight...If Ward fought that same Hopkins that Calz fought...I think he would outpoint him. The Hopkins from that fight just doesnt have the stamina IMO to keep up with Ward on the inside.

No way he loses to Hopkins. Eubank and especially Rjj were at the end of their best days. Kessler is Calzaghes best win and Ward looked much more impressive.

Ward is capable of beating all of the fighters that Calzaghe faced. However, Joe was at the top of the game until he was 37 years old, how will Ward look in 9 years time?

On the other side, Calzaghe would also beat everyone that Ward has faced to date

He'd of lost to Eubank, at the stage of Ward's career.

Good question. Due to Ward taking on a much tougher schedule, I'm not sure if Andre ages as well. The toughest opponent Joe had faced by 28 was his split decision over Robin Reid. That hardly compares to Abraham, Froch, Kessler, and Dawson.

Joe Cal's best win, over Kessler, came when Joe was pushing 35; a testament both to his durability and the overall weakness of his resume.

Ward has a cake walk with everybody Calzaghe faced. No debate. Simple as that.
