we've seen ward lose to both boone and a shot bika, no way calzaghe loses to either of them. in 5 years time these debates will look farcial when ward has 3 defeats and is widely acknowledged as a hypejob.

We have to remember too, that Calzaghe traveled a long way away from home for his last 2 fights at age 36....

    Would Ward do this?:huh

yeah he will travel well before 36.

but he wont travel to fight fortysomethings, because he would have already fought them in their primes instead of waiting till they were beatable.

    calzaghe only fought 1 fortysomething.

everyone knows bernard was the one who turned down the biggest payday of his career to fight calzaghe in 2002.

calzaghe fought outside his home country many times.

your entire esb posting career designated to slating joe calzaghe is laughable and your agenda driven bias leaves you with zero credability in your statements.

I didnt mention calzaghe, you did.

I was referring to any fighter who fought fortysomethings being bad practice.

you lose bigtime there haha. foot and mouth. but since you mention it, RJJ was weeks short of 40 too, Bhop asked for more money not turning the fight down in 2002, and Joe C fought in Britain for 95% of his fights, all of which you are fully aware. Good luck with denying it.

4 away fights of 46 is not many times. When it comes to fighing at home , Calzaghe takes that title.

Chris Eubank would have beat him, especially over in England.

This becomes the biggest joke ever .
These SMW southpaws, who were they?
Vanderpool , as if Calzaghe ducked him, he beat 2 fighters who beat him.
Liles :patsch, Zod said before that fight wouldnt mean a thing and now pretends Calzaghe ducked him :patsch, once again Calzaghe beat the fighter who bust up Liles.
Who are these legendary southpaws? There was only one I could think of... CALZAGHE

Calzaghe was based in Wales and only had around half of his world title fights in that country. He was the away fighter, fighting abroad to the country he lived in against Eubank, Reid and Woodhall.

Funny thing is, Kessler is considered a road warrior because in 46 fights he has fought away in -
    Australia, Wales, America, Germany

Calzaghe in 46 fights fought away in -
America, Germany, Denmark, America again, and also fought in England and Scotland and people dont realise that Calzaghe fought away more times.

If you want to see a stay at home hero just look at the current SMW champ, who is staying as a home town fighter, rather than a home fighter and feasting off of leftovers and leftovers of leftovers of Calzaghe
