Everyone is hot on Ward - if Froch beats Kessler and Ward beats Taylor then these two fighters are going to have very similar resumes (Pacal and Mirandi being pretty decent wins too).

Why bother with any of these comments about Ward until the Super 6 is finished?

and of course it goes without saying that Andre Ward has not faced anyone who would test Calzaghe plus I would have Calzaghe beating everyone in the Super 6 (including Ward and Abraham).

Ward's resume will surpass calzaghes in terms of talent b4 he is done, you can count on that. Once he finishes the super six as the champ and then fights Bute he will likely be above calzaghe.

I did not understand the question properly. I do not think he would be 46-0 with Calzaghe's opposition.

Ward would easily get a decision over hopkins at this point and he would stop RJJ.

There is no one, no one on calzaghes resume that ward couldnt beat, name one person. Ward manhandled Kessler, beat him up even worse than I thought he would. Calzaghe didnt do that.

Ward will win the super six and then beat Bute's ass if Bute survives long enough to face Ward. Ward is not a guy who will retire with a resume full on no names. I will do a thread in another year when ward has beaten all the super six and then whoops Bute's ass.

Ward may well pass Calzaghe in the end but regardless of whats said about Calzaghes resume in he was shot, dead at the weight, old etc, the names are quite respectable in the SMW division in Eubank, Woodhall, Kessler, Reid, Lacy, Mitchell, Bika, Brewer, Sheika, Veit etc

I'd say he loses to Hopkins.

One good fight and how quickly people forget times when a guy struggled.

Styles make fights, we all know that. Calzaghe showed he could handle different types, Ward will have to do the same for us to know. Counter punchers in Reid, aggression in Lacy, cageyness in Hopkins etc

Another example of how myopic boxing fans can be.
One good showing and that makes the man an unstoppable force.
