I don't think so, but you could argue either way. However, two things that are not in question:

1 - Prime 4 prime, Ward would not have beaten Calzaghe.

2 - Ward will not be champ in 10 years, no matter what level of competition.

1 - Okay, fair enough. Ill rephrase, Calzaghe beats any version of Ward we've seen so far. Do you agree?

2 - Sitting on any belt for 10 years is not EASY, so don't kid yourself.

If Andre Ward fought Joe Calzaghe, he would be 0-1.

For once, I actually agree with this maniac. Jones has been finished for years, Ward would've spanked him. And I don't understand all this BS about Calzaghe "ruining" Kessler. How does putting up a damn good fight and losing a decision in your far more experienced opponent's backyard while shipping no serious physical punishment "ruin" a fighter? Utter, utter bollocks.

As if Kessler's glass ego has been forever shattered because of Calzaghe's pillow fist :-(

Calzagh spent those 10 years chasing fights with Ottke and Beyer. He also was planning to move up to face Johnson, I believe in 2004, plus a Hopkins fight was supposed to happen in 2002. The guy couldn't get a break until he beat Lacy and got some name recognition over here.

Kessler was rusty and might have lost the fight either way... it makes me red with rage the word 'exposed'... simply put its the wrong word for the wrong reason for the wrong fighter... i think:huh

Robin Reid is the one guys.

An even dirtier fighter than Ward when he needed to be, with great amateur pedigree.

Would have to be focused though and angry like he was against Calzaghe though.
