How would the Bika fight go? Do you think they would add headbutts to the compu box?
There would be more headbutts than punches landed.

Yeah, Reid is the one. Never mind that he lost to Eddie Futch's great-uncle, Sugarboy Malinga, on Malinga's 114th birthday. Reid is the one.

This question is the most ridiculous fans can come up with, just think about it for a second.

It's an actually fought resume (longetivity, ups and dows, age, health, psychological factors etc) being compared to an an image of a fighter who might perform on that imaginary level for a few fights, but impossible to tell whether he could do it for an entire career vs. the all kinds of competition and all stages of a career.

    - Tyson was awesome vs. Holmes, wasn't he? But think about for a second:

"If 'Mike Tyson' fought Mike Tyson's resume, would he be undefeated?"

Of corse he would, he f*cking knocked out Larry Holmes for Chrissakes!

You see the problem? There's a huge difference between the Mike Tyson image (the monster running through competition for a period of time) and the actual Mike Tyson in career perspective with ups and downs and different kinds of competition. It's ridiculous. Mike Tyson in reality lost to fighters the iconic 'Iron Mike' who never existed in career perspective, would've knocked out. Same goes with Ali, Jones, Whitaker and Robinson, they all lost to fighters they were supposed to go 99-0 against.

So let's just wait and see how Ward will handle his own resume in the next 10 years. In the meantime, if you like, predict whether Ward will be 46-0 and check back 10 years from now whether you predicted correctly.

WTF does that have to do with anything. Hopkins was the only world class fighter Joe could have faced in ten years time? The British posters on this site are so ****ing slow I'm rapidly forming the opinion that British schools must be a place where kids just go to be touched by clergymen.

i think the question is onlly would he beat Bhop and Kessler.

Kessler we already know he would, and Bernard was just too old to be a threat for the full fight so he'd beat him too.

A better question is whether Ward could beat all Joe's opponents in their prime, because obviously Joe could never get close to doing that.

    Without a doubt.

Kessler had a hand injury, Eubank was well short of his best, but Ward beats a prime Eubank anyway. B-hop and RJJ were absolute shells of themselves by the time Joe Cal decided to cash out.

I voted 46-0 because I don't think there is a fighter on Calzaghe's resume that current Ward couldn't beat at the point Calzaghe fought them..

But... Calzaghe fought for a long time, it is hard to be your best every time you step in the ring.. Who knows what Ward will look like in 5 or 10 years.. You really just don't know.

I think Ward would struggle with a sharp, Prime Kessler but it would be a close fight all in all.

Eubank would just over whelm Ward stylistically and even at that stage in his career would turn the fight rough and would be in Wards face all night until he wore him down and stopped him

Hopkins would spoil, headbutt, and clinch all night to the point niether fighter lands more than 10 punches in the fight  but basically Hopkins wins via very ugly points decision

43 year hopkins?beats prime ward? joke, man. you cant beat the best with half a tank of lungs.

hopkins can beat fair guys (pascal) and match fairly good ones (joe cal) but he cant beat someone realy good in his forties.
