If Angulo doesn't price himself out, I'd like to see him in against Martinez...

Martinez needs to fight draws if he wants to make the big money. This leaves him Mayweather, Pac, Cotto, Angulo and Bute, personally I wouldnt mind seeing him fighting Angulo in Cali. HBO would buy it and it would make for an entertaining fight.

If I was Angulo, I'd jump at the chance to fight Martinez and I agree, it would be a fun fight to watch (I'd watch Angulo fight anyone though).

I also agree with DiBella's reasoning - this is a fight that Martinez would be heavily favoured to win but would also be pretty good for the fans. Not easy to get that combination.

There's a whole lot of emerging talent at 160 but I don't know if any of the guys are ready to fight Sergio right now.

I like Angulo, please don't compare him to Frazier

The point is, if Cintron who can't deal with pressure, was able to neutralize Angulo with his boxing skill, then Martinez will certainly do a number. Martinez was like 16-0 when he lost to Margarito. Not only that, his first professional bout was when he was around 22 years old.

Currently, Martinez has shown that he can deal with a high work rate and pressure. Angulo has shown that he can't deal with a superior boxer yet.

Di Bella has said in all likeliness he'll be looking for Bute as Sergio's next opponent , he's going to 68 alright !!! :deal

Back on topic , i really like Margarito Angulo in Mexico , i think thats the best fight surrounding Angulo at present .......

But overall i agree Angulo is a credible opponent certainly for Martinez yes

First, hell no, I NEVER said the cuts cost Pavlik that fight! I watched it many times, and the cuts were merely a symptom of other issues.

Second, Angulo is not very good and never will be. Martinez would beat the living **** out of him in a fight that would not be competetive at any point.

Exactly. It's a good fight. Fan friendly.

And there is nothing else interesting at 154 and 160 unless Pavlik wants a rematch...
