Brother I get your points. Please don’t for 1 second think I am denigrating the B side. Barton was a very popular as were others. Being the A side or the B side does not mean 1 fighter is better than the other. It’s just box office. The A side can be the popular guy or can be viewed as the bad guy you come to watch lose. In any event my point being if you are the B side then take the lesser purse and defeat the A side which puts you in the position to earn more.

Using Mayweather as an example his pay per view fights alone throughout his career generated over $1.6 Billion in the USA alone. He was also able to generate significant serious money from UK pay per view sales as well. Mayweather always had very respectable to outstanding PPV figures.

To buttress my point please see the following statistics:

The winner of Wilder vs Fury will be the number 1 HW on the planet.

No way should the number one HW have to settle for less than 50% against anyone.

Thanks Bro. However I think you get my point. It’s amazing that Mayweather became such an economic powerhouse that athlete’s not just boxers are seeing what can be done. Did we ever think a fighter could hundreds of millions revenues for themselves in one fight.

Depends which side of the pond. AJ is the A-side in the UK, and Wilder is the A-side here. Duh.
