No not a chance, Tarver wouldn't get past Stiverne or Povetkin, he could barely get past the mediocre Kayode and Banks has a glass jaw.

Povetkin and Klitschko are pie in the sky, but I'm not 100% sure Tarver couldn't beat Stiverne.

The only person of note Stiverne has ever really beaten is Chris Arreola. :!: Ho hum.

Oh and shot Ray Austin, who actually outboxed Stiverne for most of the night.

I'm not sure Tarver can beat Arreola at this point, fine, he looked good against a unmotivated, bored, and chinny Banks, who Seth Mitchell unimpressively outboxed. This win doesn't mean much.

But I agree Stiverne is overrated.

Yeah, this isn't a knee jerk reaction based on Tarver vs. Banks - I'm just not really sold on Stiverne yet (as I was never high on Arreola)

    Hayden's bed wouldn't!

    Denise's, however... :hey

(she'd be getting the Mrs. Thompson broken hip treatment)

just like you said 'UNTHINKABLE"... so it impossible to say what a reaction would be to something that will never ever happen 100 times out of 100 times

Tarver gets beat by everyone in the top 12.

I would watch Wilder-Tarver with a lot of curiosity.

Why are people suddenly hyping up Tarver again?

Because prior to Mitchell vs. Banks II, many were calling Banks the best American heavyweight (or at least top 5) and top 15 in the world.

...and he was supposed to smash Tarver, somehow, despite never having been a KO artist at CW or HW.

Off the back of beating Mitchell? That's crazy talk.
