I agree sort of. I was looking forward to the fight for awhile and as a fan of both fighters it was disappointing:-( Joe did do a great job of controlling the fight but it honestly did'nt seem to be a herculean task. Where was Kesslers head after around the 4th rd? Occasionally he would wake up out of whatever trance he was in and remember he was in the fight of his life. Also as a fan of Joe I know he's capable of much more than what he showed against Kessler. Disappointing for fans of both really. I know a win is a win so congrats to Joe. Cheers mate:good

I agree with Sweet Pea that Joe C should beat Taylor... but also realize that it could be a very competitve and good fight at 168. Much depends on how JT comes back from the KO loss to Pavlik. One of these days Calzaghe will start to show some age in the ring. Happens to everybody, sooner or later. It didn't happen vs Kessler, very good win for Joe

Well, of course Pavlik would beat Calzaghe.

    He's American right?
He's had ONE title fight, in which he got dropped. And beat a man who couldn't KO a welterweight - and is nicknamed "Bad Decisions".

Oh yeah, Calzaghe should be trembling in his boots.

I thought the fight was a bit boring...mind you, not as boring as Mayweather/ODLH, which was a snorefest, or Hopkins/Wright. I was a little disappointed by the lack of power/the ability to land power shots of both boxers, especially @ 168 pounds. I was expecting more....which is probably my fault.
It didn't pass my 'jump off the easy chair and throw a few air punches' test.
