Hi this is my first post on Eastside Boxing. I was wondering if people believed a convincing win over Adamak is enough to give him a fight with either Klistchko or Haye? Tomasz has a win over a shot (but still heavy) Golota and a solid win over Jason Estrada. Has he earned himself the position of a top contender with these heavyweight wins? They are better than some guys wins who go on to fight for the title (eg Kevin Johnson) but is it enough. What do you think

Maybe. I'd like to see him against Sam Peter. Arreola is dying to be the first Mexican Heavyweight Champ. Or should I say crying to be champ.:|

welcome! and no but it doesn't mean he won't get one, especially against haye. they seem to have personal bad blood and that could get him a shot

No. The guy lost every second of every round to Vitali Klitschko he was not even competitive. He does not 'deserve' anything he has shown he can't even be competitive with the divisions top fighters.

I dunno, he should bring in quite a crowd, being the first Mexican to be heavyweight champ and with a exciting style. I don't think he does at the moment though.

If he really wants one he should take on guys like Chambers and Kingpin, and if he beats them then he has an argument for a title shot.

In fact, ANY of the heavies who want a second shot at the title should beat at least two recent contenders first.

would like to see him more committed in training and it having a knock on affect in the ring, the Klitschos hve such a superior reach and height advantage it isnt a great idea for him to fight Vlad whos just goin to jab him death

Some of these 'contenders' really need to start fighting each other instead of feasting on the same old gatekeepers and has-beens. This fight is a start, but no, it's not enough to earn Arreola another crack at a title. He's really got no standout wins on his record and needs to face a Thompson, Johnson, Dimitrenko or someone of that ilk.

Ofcourse he deserves another shot if he beats Adamek. Unlike fellow Americans Kevin Johnson and Eddie Chambers, he actually tried to fight and kept coming forward. A win over Adamek would be a good enough win. A MUCH better win than Solis over Barret or Peter over Aguilera or Tua over Ahyahuana or whatever the **** his name was.
