He was getting close to doing it, before he got caught with the one hitter quitter.

I heard Audley was close to getting a shot as Sam Peter, do you think that would have happened?

It wouldn't matter. If he could get his shot on anyone and knocked them out, like he did Sprott, it would all be because he got lucky. If he knocked Haye out with a punch, it would have been because he got lucky.

Audley has never produced in a ring.

Tbh he was bashing Sprott up in them first few rounds of first fight and was looking well on way to win. If he won what would of happened....he would of lost to Peter because he still and always has been scared of being tagged and Peter at that time was a dangerous puncher who would of landed at some point and shaken him and stopped him around 5-6 rounds in after a decent yet negative start from Audley.

Peter would've absolutely murdered Harrison. Jeremy Williams type of vicious KO.

    Harrison just isn't a fighter.

Most of his wins over half decent opponents have kinda come by accident, or as a result of lapses from the opponent.

Sprott was tooling him in the rematch, I had him 9-2 ahead.... all he had to do was get on the bike.... but knowing what Audley is like he wouldn't have been expecting the biggie anyway

I was gutted when that shot landed, the ultimate pretender grabbed himself a legitimate title :-(

Very true,as a pro he never looked good. His biggest win is the 2nd Sprott fight.I mean no offence to Sprott here who is a solid pro but for a gold medalist who talked such a good game its shameful.
The worst part is Audley has made a fortune when far better fighters who achieved far more retire with very little.I read the Duke mac interview in BM the other day 3 world titles and he wont even have earned what Aud got payed for the Haye fight if you added up his career purses.

It doesn't matter what happens, at some stage Fraudley will always choke and get ko'd. He can't complain, we made him a millionaire based on amateur achievements and talk!!!
