If Audley is at his best he will KO Price!

This thread is everything I love about ESB. Complete lunacy from the OP. A great rant from PK and people claiming to be boxing fans seriously believing A Farce is going to actually fight for once.

 

He's just showing up for one more payday. I wouldn't be surprised if his performance is as bad as his showing against Haye was, that was pathetic.

 

I do agree with the sentiment of the OP but nobody seems to have mentioned that Audley is now OLD. If he had this apparent mentality when he turned pro, who knows how he might have turned out. YES, he has an amazing amount of natural ability and talent and YES, if he is 100% focused and ready he is in with a chance to pull off the shock win.

However, I have a big problem with Audleys' age and inactivity and fear he may just be a sitting duck. A sitting duck with all the natural ability and talent in the World is still a sitting duck.

As much as I would love Audley to pull off a shock, I just think Price is going to run right through him.

The points i have made are valid points, Frank ****** has stated that the BBC discriminates against boxing, he has stated that they are a disgrace. Anybody that knows boxing knows that the BBC is a elite smug establishment that discriminates against the working class, and boxing is the only working class sport through and through forget about football. If you break it down on a intrinsic level, Football off the field is a elite smug establishment. Where as boxing has originated from the streets, the criminal underworld, the MOB, and in one form or another these areas still have heavy influence on the game.

The BBC stigmatised Audley Harrision, for many years the BBC and the media have gone out of their way to tarnish his character. Nobody with Audley Harrison's career achievements should be labelled as a fraud, but this has what has happened through the social conditioning! and false political propaganda. There is a racist element to it aswell, the media has undertone of de-scripting Audley Harrison as a dum, are you messing..? He has made millions, fought through the academic education system as a mature student, and achieved a degree, he was the first high profiled British fighter to set up his own boxing promotion company! He was a pioneer.

And after him followed more pioneers! Pioneers who raged against the machine, more renegades fighting the power!

Yes Audley Harrison is accountable for his own performances, but by no means is he the failure and fraud that the media would want you to believe. The game was not ready for Audley Harrison a boxing pioneer, who's influenced changed the game both Amateur and professional in great Britain.

I am too smart, to be influenced by media propaganda, i am not stating Audley Harrison will win, but he is far from a failure and fraud.

You raise many points and I totally agree with you!

I spoke to the common man and he says "Audley is 'cr@p' and he's not good at boxing". I reply, "You do realise he won a gold medal for this country don't you?" He then proceeds to reply: "oh really? I wasn't aware of that". That's right this mug is conditioned and literally unaware of Audley's achievements. When the media say something over and over again they literally create this sense of validity even if the claims are false.

Audley also got a 2.1 which was very hard to get when he attained his degree. You all hear about BHOP and his 'thug story', well Audley was also 'street', got stabbed and turned his whole life around.

Even IF Audley were to lose against Price. So what!? He's achieved far more than any of the haters ever good in there pathetic lives. All I can do as a long time fan is stick by his side and wish him luck. (trust me i know loads of bandwagon fans, and this is something i am not!)

I just hope Audley genuinely goes for it this time, and doesn't freeze up. He's got devastating power in that left hand, the problem is he throws it once every 3 rounds! Against Price, if he covers up and fights cautious he's getting knocked out, if he comes out and pressures price then he might get knocked out, but he has the slim chance of landing and actually doing some damage

why does he have to prove to you or anyone else that he 'must' come out punching. HIS style is counter punching and setting you up with a left hand. Hes not Lennox Lewis or Ricky Hatton. Dont understand why people cant see that. Then him do him and let others do themselves.!

 

He didn't mention about proving anything to anybody. The fact is, Audley can't spend the whole fight on the ropes and at range because he is smaller and slower than Price. If he does this, he will be gone quickly. If he takes the middle of the ring and throws more punches than usual, he at least has a chance.

 

He has no chance, Price knocks him out and sends him back into retirement where he belongs.

 

PK you berate people who doubt Audley and say they have been brainwashed by the media. I say it's better to be brainwashed by the media as I apparently have, than to have been brainwashed by Audley Harrison as you have been.

If Audley wins, it changes nothing, it just means Price is worse than we thought. Audley is beyond redemption. And to the liar who says he threw one punch against Haye, he did not, he extended his arm he did not throw a punch.
