If B-hop is a defensive genius, is Hatton one aswell?

I can't even make out which post fight picture this is since he finishes most of his fights like this, blocking punches with his face, happy to take one to give one so I believe this thread is pointless... Sorry

Hopkins doesn't get hit clean, Hatton does.

You're right of course. Maybe I phrased the question poorly. Hatton only fights one way, he does use feints and decent head movement and foot work to create angles but he uses them as offensive tools. Defense is not his first concern. I get the impression though when B-hop employs those tactics which I mentioned previously they are considered perfectly valid as a defensive strategy but when Hatton does it, he's branded a one-dimensional, dirty, fouling cheat.

first of all, I'm a huge Hopkins fan and I know he is a dirty fighter and even a cheat. I think it takes skill to foul and get away with it. The shitty fighters get DQ'd when they foul, Hopkins does it so well that 90% of the time the other guy gets warned for retaliating.

Secondly, only the haters think Hatton is 1-dimensional. The rest of us know he is a damn good fighter.

Still a defensive comparison between Hatton and Hopkins is not even conceivable.
