As far as I know, Fury will be fighting Charr in his next tuneup fight, Bellew refused to fight Fury............... Call 702-486-2575 and tell the Nevada Boxing Commission that you want a fair fight this time, no cheating, no corrupt judges, referee like the first Golovkin/El Pollo fight and no drugs for El Pollo!
Charr will not be until at least December. A) Fury ain't ready. B) Charr is scheduled for (believe it or not) Oquendo in September. It will probably be another bum in August not much better than Seferi, but I am hoping for Sam Peter, who has asked for the fight a couple of months back. All things considered, that would actually be a good challenge and an entertaining fight. As for Bellew, since I think they will try to make Charr in Decemeber, maybe February or March?
The only part I disagree with is that Sam Peter is "a good challenge." Otherwise, great post. Hey don't put it past Oquendo to beat Charr! Well, I mean more like don't think Charr ever has an auto-win! Also, shout out to Mr. Oquendo. Nobody has gotten paid more money as an "active" pro boxer in their 40's to not fight than he has over the last few years.
The Fury of last week would surely get mullered by the Bellew that fought Haye. There's a minimum standard that any professional has to meet to avoid getting hurt and TF was below it in my view. No focus, no timing, conditioning highly suspect etc... Even if the excess weight goes I'd be worried about his mental fitness. He looks vulnerable and brittle sadly. He needs a lot of work physically and mentally before he gets in with any top 10 HW and at present for all his flaws I think Bellew probably fits in that category.
There's a reason Bellew makes his wife and kids fly to Spain every time he fights now. Hiding his stash where the wolves can't get to it.
Bellew is a shameless opportunist. First he calls out an old shot to smithereens Haye whose body was so injury ravaged he can't even climb in and out of the bath without assistance. And then when Haye's body inevitably gives out on him during the fight and he literally has a one-legged dead man in front of him, they go and do it all again a year later when Haye is even older and more shot and injury ravaged than he was the first time. Now Bellew is calling out a rusty as hell Fury after The Gypsy King has only had one fight in 3 years after going through the mother of all cocaine binges, ballooning up to nearly 30st after spending over 2 years emptying a pizza parlour and a bakery every day, and suffered from a severe bout of depression and suicidal thoughts all throughout his absence from the sport.
