    It's not true that is why. Beating MAB and Marquez doesnt make you a top 20 atg. Like I said before Manny is overrated in that aspect. Think about it. Someone find an article, quote, or video in 2008 saying Manny is a all time great? I damn sure can't find one. How can someone who people didn't even acknowledge as an atg become top 20 all time by beating Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto. Hatton and Cotto are not even guaranteed HOFers.

    This is the problem right off the bat, people thinking beating a certain boxer is what makes you an ATG. Or that a win moves you up a few nothes. It's the career as a whole that it is based on.

    Yea but I just said no one even considered him an atg in 08 but in 09 he's top 20. From what I've seen I never heard anyone call Manny a atg in 08. No way anyone makes that big of a jump.

    Top 25 for sure, maybe top 20, you could even make a case for top 15, but any higher than that and you're on crack.

    11 of his last 18 fights have been against future hall of famers,plus he's been going up in weight to fight them,plus this is disregarding his already impressive career before this.
    he is a phenomenon,look at the size of margarito to him and he anihilated him,floyd wanted nothing to do with marg.head to head i do favour floyd but in terms of greatness floyds let too many fights and challenges go by

    No one cares about the size difference against Marg because he wasn't **** when Manny fought him. Everyone knew Manny was going to win. I never said Manny wasn't great. I said he is overrated where people rank him. Also regarding the 11 out of 18, some of those fighters were not at their best. We both know this. Manny is greater than Floyd. I never said he wasn't. He's not a top 10-20 atg though.

    a win against floyd puts him top 5 for me definately,i favour floyd head to head as i say,for me floyd is the best defence in boxing history he's multiweight unbeaten champion,if pac beats him he has done everything he possibly could of in his era

    I guess. I can't put him over Duran, Ali, Armstrong, Robinson, and Greb even if he beat Floyd. Top 15-20 easy.

    at the end of the day nostalgia plays a big part in any discussion like this and there is no cast iron way of proving one thing or another its just mythical.but either way people on here disrespecting pac,he is the best fighter of our era and his achievements are legendary,hes never ducked a fight and continues to push the boundaries and doing all he can to cement a legacy that is hard to rival.shame floyd hasnt had his drive to further himself because floyd is a super talented fighter and has no need to fear anyone or fear losing his 0,it happens to the best

    Those fighters I named do have better resumes than Manny. Also some people feel Manny ducked Mosley to fight Cotto in 09. Some people feel he ducked Paul Williams. Even some fighters at 135/140 since he had one fight there. With Floyd he did duck some fighters. But people over exaggerate that sometimes. If Floyd fought everyone he would have beaten over 20 world champs. Lets not forget he is 2nd in his era with 15 world champs. Oscar is the only one to beat more.
