Petersons test wouldn't have been positive since his testosterone level was within the threshold so they wouldn't even have tested for synthetic testosterone

...and gbp would not let vada do teir testing again because vada would not agree to notify gbp first before reporting the test result to the state commission that's sanctioning the fight.

You know how long they've been around?

    Are they reputable?

Victor Conte I believe mentioned that the ammounts detected in Berto's samples were trace amounts that could have resulted from legal supplements being contaminated in the lab by someone who also mixes illegal PED's.
According to Conte, it is'nt all uncommon to have legal supplements contaminted by trace ammounts of illegal PED's, the trace ammounts so small they would not enhance an athletes performance.

Vada was just founded recently. its a private non-profit organization that just seems to do its job, unbiased, unlike the USADA.
i mean its pretty much a fact that the USADA has given a pass to leading American athletes in the past like Carl Lewis for example. and it has always been rumored that they did continue to do so across the board, Armstrong, several tennis players, Floyd etc while pointing the finger to other national doping agencies lets say in Jamaica or China. USADA is obviously willing to draw a cloak of silence over positive results under certain circumstances and does have a political agenda.
nandrolon testing is standardized. Bertos test would have been positive too, if the sample had been probed by the USADA.
How they would have handled the situation is another question.
Its possible that the result was caused by contaminated supplements since Berto first passed some tests but the police is, that the athlete takes responsibility for whatever he has in his body. when you take part in such a program, you get clarified understandably and in detail about all that before you sign that stuff up, also about which supplements are nonhazardous. Same with Peterson, if his doc had declared the therapy hes been using on Peterson beforehand most likely nothing would have happened to him, if there was a medical indication for that treatment like he claimed there was. but he failed so that was a violation of the rules. an exception is the Morales case since clenbuterol contaminated meat is an acknowledged health issue in Mexico leading to more than a hundred positive tests during a u17 soccer championship that took place in Mexico last year and things like that.

Divac, you are so out of your depth on this subject it's not even funny. The point of this thread isn't even about Mayweather. It's about how the results of Morales' previous positive testing results were not released under USADA due to a "process" manually instated between USADA and GBP.

And, no he means VADA, not WADA.

Go read Hauser's article FFS, and then come back to **** up the thread.

    And USADA will?

Are those facts? If yes, USADA credibility is ruined.

USADA dont use the carbon isotope test for synthetic testosterone so Peterson wouldnt have been caught, he passed the USADA test for the Khan fight despite having an implant.

Berto wouldve been caught but without someone leaking the results its likely GBP wouldve hushed it up & no-one would ever find out

USADA have zero credibility, their relationship with GBP is deeply corrupt.

it is a GBP event. it's in schaefer's best interest that this fight pushes through and testing positive would ruin.an event just like what actually happened. thete's a reason why schaefer prefers USADA from VADA from now on.

Schaefer's problem is that he didn't secure Khan and Peterson's signatures to enable VADA to pass on positive results to Goldenboy. This is his problem and his **** up. Because of this he didn't have enough time to prepare a back up plan and he lost a great deal of money when the news of the positive test came out.

He's held a grudge against VADA and now only works with USADA on terms that allow for test results to be manipulated in a way that allows fights to go ahead regardless of positive tests (see Morales) thus protecting his business interests.

This is pure speculation and it is likewise in Schaefer's best interest to not allow a doped-up opponent beat one of his own guys. Again, the fact that Berto and Alexander were NOT Golden Boy fighters makes the parallel with the Morales case pointless.
