2 to 1 is a lie. There were more shots landed by Canelo than those. You're just cherrypicking a few of his shots and saying that's all he landed.
As opposed to "scoring" shoulder punches. No ones saying anything about putting them on equal footing as head and body punches. No 2 head or body punches have to be on equal footing either. You have to rate every punch on its own merits. The hard shoulder/bicep bombs that Canelo landed, like the one at the end of round 1 is better than many head or body shots. Why? Because of how flush and hard it landed. That would be better than a partly blocked or light jab that had no impact. Would that shoulder/bicep at the end of round 1 be on equal footing as an equally hard or flush landed shot to the head or body? Probably not Q, but in this fight there were hardly any clean flush shots landed to the head or body that landed as well as those Canelo's shoulder/bicep bombs. Probably the closest thing to those in power and impact would be Canelo's uppercuts. Would you rate Canelo's uppercuts as better than the shoulder/bicep bombs? You tell me, those landed hard but actually caught some glove on the way in, whereas the shoulder/bicep bombs didn't catch any glove. There's nothing in the rules that puts shoulder hits on different footing than head or body punches. Just score them based on how well they landed, and even if you think that they shouldn't be on equal footing, there's still the fact that those landed cleaner and harder than most head or body shots in the match which you need to take into consideration.
I think Bivol would be very silly to not go for Undisputed at 168, maybe hes trying to sort out 175 first and then come down. Boxers spend their careers chasing undisputed in one weight class, Bivol could get that status in 2 weight classes... in 2 fights
It doesn't matter. Clenelo won't win another title at 175. Zurdo, Beterbiev would dominate him as well.
