If Beterbiev wins, what are the chances of him and Usyk at cruiser?

Zero, after the Hws Usyk very likely will retire. And then he has already beat Beterbiev

Beter just wants the money fight since Usyk is a pretty big name now after all the HW shows.
If he really wanted Usyk, he would have gone to cruiser during Usyk's cruiser reign.
I wouldn't mind seeing Usyk KO him though, which is likely what happens. We know Beter can punch well at LHW and would have decent power at cruiser but Usyk is taking punches from massive HWs and hurting them too.
And no it isn't Russian versus Ukrainian, it's Chechen (who won't live in Chechnya) versus Ukrainian.

I don't like it because as I've already said we see what happened to RJJ when he moved up to Heavyweight and then dropped back down over 20 pounds in his mid 30s I don't think it's a good idea.

Usyk has weighed over 220 pounds in his last few fights he's older he's bulked up a bit and is perfectly sized as a Heavyweight now. I think it would be a terrible idea to lose over 20 pounds at age 36/37 year old simply because Usyk would be drained and won't be as effective.

I agree with @AdamT if Beterbiev was already a Cruiserweight then they could maybe meet in the middle with Beterbiev weighing a bit over 200 pounds and Usyk maybe dropping a few pounds.

But as it stands today no I don't want to see it I'd rather Usyk fight another Heavyweight contender if he beats Fury again or just simply retire.

If Beterbiev is successful and continues after Bivol moving up to CW is a no brainer. Nothing left for him at LHW.

It was like 600 years ago. Since then, Usyk won lots of championships.
