Hopefully people don’t just start automatically call him overrated and say he came to lose etc which I’m expecting as he’s a top fighter who’s been a champ for awhile.
    Gonna be a great fight.

If that happens, the usual suspects will be unable to cope and will be insufferable of course. But yes Bivol is a top fighter and we need to keep that in mind. Should be a great fight. I can't wait!!

Best guy Canelo has fought since Golovkin.

Canelo will have to operate at a very high level to come through this one with the W.

Mind you, so will Bivol. Bivol has fought bigger stronger guys than Canelo but I don't think he's fought anybody as skilled.

Canelo gets the TKO/KO-“loaded gloves!,Bivol was weight drained!,Canelo is on the juice” Canelo gets the decision “judges were paid off!” Yes,Canelo is the A-side and that has its advantages, one of them being you have to beat the A-side convincingly in a decision.

It’s gonna be a challenge to beat Canelo of course but when guys throw all these accusations out there, their basically using those accusations to dismiss Canelo’s legacy and give any fighter who loses against him a get outta jail free pass. Canelo is just great right now,let him be great honestly.

The irony of Clen plum suckers accusing others of being insufferable makes the vastness of the universe look like a children's paddling pool in comparison. I spat my coffee all over my TV upon reading that :risas3::facepalm:

Kovalev was not a good opponent. Shot & war torn.

He got concussed heavily 60 days prior in a hard 12 round bout and rushed into the fight for his payday and retirement.

Amir Khan could have knocked him over.

I think the bigger question is what if Canelo loses. To me this is low risk high reward for Bivol. He will continue to make his usual purses. If Canelo loses will it put a dent in his star status?

Wouldn’t cause a huge dent to his star power but would be more a shock to the casual fans who tune in expecting a canelo win. Would kinda bring canelo back down to earth in terms of being a beatable fighter because atm it feels like he can’t lose but If he does then he won’t lose much star power

I still get the Tainted Meat Man credit for stepping up to 175 with the Krusher.
Krusher was boxing his ears off for several rounds and just got caught cold.

Bivol has not knocked anybody out in the last six fights.
If he can't KO Alvarez he ain't gonna win.
Since Mayweather retired (sort of) you don't get a decision over Alvarez.

Bivol is legit. Hope he comes in and makes Canelo work. I also hope the decision is legit. If Canelo beats him fairly, I’ll be the first to congratulate him.

still a good name & fighter for someone who has never fought at the weight.

as opposed to a Sulecki , Yildrim or Steve Rolls type.
Difference is that kovalev fight was one of many fights that year not the one & done of the typical fighter these days.

If he loses, i hope he will try himself at 168.They can make something like a tournament, who can beat Bivol he deserves to challenge Canelo.I would like to see Bivol against the big mouth Andrade or versus Charlo. No matter what will happen in his fight with Canelo, i believe he will beat both Andrade and Charlo

He'll end up being called a bum and that he took a dive or otherwise cheated by certain elements no matter the outcome. **** em'. I just want a fight that sorely tests both fighters and reasonable officiating.
