Bivol is a top class fighter, and I would be very surprised if he would actually win. If boxing was on the level in any way, I would have predicted him to win a decsison.
I don't understand all of you whiners who keep complaining about how corrupt this sport is but continue to watch it.
To be clear Canelover, I actually stopped watching boxing for a while because of the clear corruption and favoritism for fighters of some nationalities. Still boxing shouldn't be for people from the couple of countries the usually have their countrymen on the winning side of the scorecard if they don't deserve it. Actually there are lots of people from those countries that hate it as much as I do. I'll keep watching and "whining" everytime some diva gets a s**t scorecard in their favor, so there will be a lot more where this came from and quite possible after this fight. You just have to live with it , I guess. Like I have to live with watching big fights regularly getting undeserved winners.
If bivol loses I expect canelo to fight beterbiev. And probably he will, because canelo has given me basically every fight I've asked for.
He was leading in the fight and I had him winning at the time of stoppage. Take that garbage elsewhere please. But yeah, lets forget that the majority were picking Kovalev to absolutely destroy him now, okay?
So you think the Kovalev who showed up against Nelo was as good as the one who showed up against Ward? Still ignoring the hard fact the guy got rocked around the joint and concussed 60 days before fighting Canelo. Who the hell comes off a bout like that and fights 2 months later? nobody but he did because he knew he wanted to retire and saw that moneeey. Canelo saw that bout and sniped him. Easy pickings.
I never said he's as good as the Kovalev that fought Ward, but he's definitely not the complete joke of an opponent that you try to make him out to be either. I'm not exactly sure, but I can recollect you (and the majority out there) picking Kovalev to beat him only to switch gears and hide behind the ocean of excuses Kovalev unleashed after he was sparked.
