If Bob Arum retires from Boxing Promoting, is this good for Boxing?

    Yes things will change. Working with GBP is good for business and whoever replaces Bob will know thst. Bob has a personal vendetta which is clouding his decisions he is a disease that needs to be eliminated.

    HBO paid a US$1,500,000 license fee for Khan-Malignaggi and a $750,000 license fee for Ortiz-Campbell.

    New York State Athletic Commission records state that Victor Ortiz received a $100,000 purse and Nate Campbell received a $125,000 purse.

    GBP kept 525,000 of the 750,000 paid by HBO.

    Ironic you said that considering your avatar.
    Arum's has as many historical fights as King. He promoted fights that consisted of Hagler, Hearns, Duran Leonard, Ali, Frazier, etc.

    I can't imagine a situation where things would get worse. Anyone that tries to match our out-do his greed at the head of Top Rank would just succumb to the competition from GBP.
