If boxing PPV's continue with stacked cards like Mayweather vs. Marquez. Would you buy them more ? I think UFC is forcing boxing promoters into a position to give the fans more for their money. Im not sure if they did it because they feel threatened by the UFC card or if Mayweather simply does not sell. Or Both. But I would love to see this more so we get our moneys worth as fans. Any input appreciated !!!

Honestly the Mayweather vs. Marquez fight could be the least exciting and competitive on the card !

Absolutely. I mean, I still buy most of them anyway, but it would at least make me feel better about buying them.

Tell you what man Im a big fan of boxing and a long time fan of MMA and let me tell you this. Ive been to plenty of fights here at San Jose, Ca at the HP Pavillion and Oakland as well. One thing I noticed is that MMA is at its peak man I just went to the Carano Vs Cyborg fight(IT was free) and there were twice as many fans present as in the Guerrero Jordan/ Ortiz Vs Argonautis fight or than the Pantera Vs Ward fight. Casual fans love MMA my boss and all my coworkers were there and most of them are a bunch of squares. Truth is Boxing is loosing its shine and it doesnt interest the young casual fans it used to.

It's good to know UFC is waking them up and forcing them to put on great cards all the way.

I buy them all too Boxing Tees. I turned to MMA mainly because of the politics of boxing. But man how I hated the undercards on PPV's !! They arent even competitive.Hopefully this is the begining of something great for the sport !

I went to Carano-Cyborg too... the card sucked. Just like the last 3 UFC's. Casual fan or not, boring cards can turn off any fight fan.

It would definitely help to generate interest. For UFC fights the arena is filled for the entire card. For boxing it doesnt fill up until the co-feature or right before the main event. Exciting fights on the undercard generate exposure for up and comers and allow them to develop a fanbase.

Guys like Arum and Gary Shaw are killing the sport ... putting together weak PPV's and protecting their fighters.

It seems as though GBP's puts on the best cards top to bottom ... take tonight for instance ... 3 fights - 2 of them being world title fights ... its gets no better than that and they're free.

If that were TopRank ... they would've put this on PPV and called this latin fury 25

Dude...go ahead and call Arum a piece of ****...liar...racist....whatever...but the guys has put on better cards from top to bottom then most promoters do today.

DLH's GBP has been notorious for their **** cards under a big name main event. And that's not disputable. Having them called "title fights" do NOT mean they are guarnteed good bouts. Remember the undercard for DLH vs. Pac? Or DLH vs. Mayweather? Or Hopkins vs. Calzaghe? The BIGGEST names in boxing and we were fed **** cards. ALL GBP.

And that's not to say Arum doesn't do it, but his cards are usually more entertaining from top to bottom.

This is, however, a step in the right direction with a great card leading to a great main event.
