If Bradley Is Legit Opposition For Pac, Does That Mean Ortiz Was Legit For Floyd?

ya de la hoya's my fav fighter but he's not god like to me like Floyd is to his fans. I admitted Oscar lost the sturm fight and Mosley 1. I questioned the KO to Hopks also. I still use rationale when watching him fight -- Something *****'s know nothing about.

Is this another way to make Ortiz really a legitimate opponent?


He won against Berto but anyone who did not see that fight would think he dominated berto when in reality, he got knocked down twice.

He quit against maidana, the same fighter who cannot dispose morales.

 

I'll say the Ortiz win for Floyd is about as good as the Clottey win for Pac.

Berto was a huge hype job and only became #2 AFTER the WW division got obliterated with Pac and Floyd left standing. Bradley is a bigger win than both of those

 

Clottey is way more credible than Ortiz will ever be!!!! And never got owned like Maidana owned Ortiz.

Clottey fought Margarito, Cotto, Zab Judah, Baldomir, Corrales.

Ortiz just have Berto.

 

At the time of the Clottey fight, Clottey was #5, Berto #6. By beating Berto, Ortiz was put somewhere around that "level" as well, which is why I have those two wins as equivalent credit-wise

 

You know what, if there's something this thread is proving is that the WW scene is not what it used to be, so elites like Pac and Floyd are forced to fight above their weight, fight "names" and "paper champs" because, well, nobody's in their league.

Years ago, we got Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, P.Williams, Mosley and Mayweather.
All prime, all undefeated (or carry only one loss from the other), all BEASTS in the ring.

 

Bradley unified 140 twice whilst Ortiz was active there and didn't even manage to pick up a belt. Having said that Ortiz's single meaningful Welterweight fight is much superior to Bradleys

 

Was Ortiz a unified champion, #1 in his division, undefeated and defended his title 6 times? No?
