brinkely did excellent in the stevens fight and deserves the nod. prior to bute-andrade II I'd a given brinkley more of a chance, but now I think Bute will break him down and ko him, especially if brinkley is still weak in the body..

Bute is many levels above Brinkley, who just fought a joke of a fighter in Stevens and has ZERO heart. Once he found out he couldn't KO Brinkley in the first two rounds, he get dejected.

I'd like to see a guy like Brinkley get a shot, but I don't think he stands much of a chance against Bute. Hopefully it is a keep warm fight for Bute and he'll fight again soon after, stepping up the comp. I'd be a bit disapointed if he doesn't have some sort of meaningful fight in 2010.

ESPN replayed Brinkley/Stevens last night, so I watched it a second time. Brinkley has a very good chin, but he has virtually no chance against Bute.

 

You mean in between comparing Stevens to Tyson in every way he could think of?
