If Brock is a such a good "FIGHTER," why did he turn his back and RUN?

you dont have a clue you ****** stop sucking on lesnars ****, the only thing stopping brock from dieing was the rules of civilized society which stopped carwin standing over brock and stomping on his head until blood ran from his eyes and ears, brock was the fighter who was helpless first lieing against the cage just hoping the ref stopped the fight, he was blessed shanes inexperience and stamina and the fact that it was so close to being stopped that carwin went too far and gassed himself out

 

Maybe if the rules were different and stomps and kicks were allowed to grounded opponents Carwin would have won, MAYBE.

That being said, under the rules of the fight Lesnar won. Brock wasn't "helpless" at any point in the fight and it is obvious if only for the fact that he was up and had Carwin pinned against the cage by the end of the first round. Sure, he wasn't doing an amazing job defending himself but he wasn't helpless.

 

Carwin couldn't finish the job because he wasn't good enough.

Lesnar didn't finish the job because the ref stopped him.

You can't beg for mercy and quit, and then be "badder".

You can't give up and be badder.

 

He was lucky he was able hump and pound a gassed carwin.

 

If by hump and pound you mean apply a choke cutting off the blood supply to his brain, and if by lucky you mean better, then yes.

 

Both fighters were pathetic, for a supposed best puncher in the UFC....Carwin isnt very good. And Dana expects us to believe that these new breed of fighters are actually better that their predecessors? Give me a break. Carwin cant even do mits, worse still is Brock is far worse than Carwin.

The only answer to the original question is: He is not a good 'fighter'. He is just a big mother****er with a lot of explosive power. He walked right into title fights after what, 3 fights? one of them a loss. Seems the whole thing was engineered so that he would come up against the smallest heavyweight champ possible. Randy was brought out of retirement to face Sylvia because they knew he had a good shot at beating him and then they had a champ in place that would struggle with Brocks athleticism and size.

Thing is that a majority of UFC fans are kind of nerdy, and I think dana sees the UFC as a real life World of Warcraft, whereby fans live vicariously through the fighters, so he wants all the champions to look like big superheroes. That's why Nelson makes such a joke of it coming into 'I'm fat' etc.

well first of all if it waz a real fight those stupid ****ing glovez come off witch changez alot and then itz a completely different fight with BRAND NEW RULEz of having no rulez. witch in turn would of CHANGED each fighterz STRATAGIEz considerably.
