Broner can't beat b level fighters at his natural weight that should say enough right there

Thing about Abril, his style is not really judge friendly. I think he beat Rios handily. But, he got robbed. Broner's work will look better than Abril's and he could win over the judges. I don't think Adrien would be able to go across the pond and steal a win against Burns like Crawford did. But, I give Broner at LW a chance against anyone.

I did not see the De Marco fight recently. But, I think he was still rated pretty high when Broner destroyed him.

He was rated highly in a poor division but I really think there was a huge element of luck in his two biggest wins and he was clearly the weakest of the 4 belt holders.

Yep. Mismatch. Thing is Crawford seems to be happy to give away the first two or three rounds while he weighs up the job and Broner would probably lose them too

There was an element of luck when Martinez KO Paul Williams and an element of luck when Marquez KO Pacquiao. But, there was also an element of skill involved. De Marco was a solid LW and was on 5 fight win streak with 4 "lucky" wins by stoppage. Adrien was just a lot more talented. It was a good win. Now, should Adrien have stayed and tried to unify? Yes. But, instead he fought a midget in Gavin Rees. Then he jumped up 2 divisions to 147 and fought two seasoned fighters. Not an easy task. And a bad career move.

When I talk about luck, what I'm saying is I think his opponents (Linares and Molina) did more to lose those fights than DeMarco did to win them.

Well, Linares has cotton for skin. But, that's not DeMarco's fault. And Molina may have had a cold chin. But, again DeMarco did what he was supposed to do. This is like saying Floyd was lucky because Manny had an "injured" right shoulder. There really are no excuses, DeMarco was the better man that night.

Meh. Not sure about Molina (it was the manner of the victory that was down to Molina stupidity rather than the result) but I think if him and Linares had fought 20 times, Linares would win 19 of them.

Broner couldn't even dominate C level fighters Emmanuel Taylor and Carlos Molina.

Provos chin is unreal , i just feel that broner would be too fast for him and since he can crack a bit he could keep him honest

Broner, Taylor and Molina are evenly matched club fighters. :nod
