Broner is a sore loser and does not deserve a rematch. If Broner has won he never would have given Maidana a rematch. Malignaggi best Broner also, but Broner did not give Malignaggi a rematch..........

 

It's more about who is the draw than who is the title holder. In both cases, Broner was the bigger draw. It is Broner giving these guys a shot, not the other way around. He brings the most money to the table for now.

You can say Maidana has bigger fish to fry. But does that bigger fish (unless its Mayweather) bring more money to the table? That doesn't make it right, but this is a business. FOR NOW, Broner brings in ratings and puts fans in the seats. Based on boxing ability, he doesn't deserve an immediate rematch. Based on the market he has created for his services, he absolutely does.

Maidana should not give Broner a rematch. But Broner is protected and is being groomed by Golden Boy so I would not be surprised if Maidana's hand is forced.
