One win, impressive though it might be, does not make Brook greater than May/Pac.

 

If Brook wins , Golovkin will be viewed as nothing but a coddled hype job who never beat nobody. He will then drop bellow Kelly Pavlik as a MW Champion.

 

As far as accomplishments he would still be below them. Consistency is how you carve your mark as a legend and one win, regardless of how great it is, simply doesn't do that. I'd favor him in head to head and I'd call him the #2 fighter currently (or even #1), but where he would rank afterwards would depend entirely on what he does next in the sport.

 

Lol! I must be psychic! I had this discussion yesterday with a buddy of mine giving Brook credit for fighting GGG. I then said him winning would be the biggest upset in boxing in years. If he does win i fully expect a bunch of idiots to say theyll put him ahead of FlIvd and Pac. Lol!

 

If Brook does beat GGG convincingly then yea I'd have to say that is better than anything Floyd has ever done.
