If Brook beats Porter

Khans next fights In December if he does get mayweather it won't be till next may so he will still have his bout at the end of this year. If brook wins its khan and him 100% in dec in the uk. Won't be a stadium fight unfortunately with the timing of it but will sell out any arena in no time and do well on box office.

The winner of that could more than likely then get the mayweather bout.

 

Khan vs Brook in U.K for the IBF 147 Title in Dec makes alot of sense.

 

If Brook wins I don't see him wanting to box Amir Khan.
Bundu is probably a good choice as he currently has a bit of profile in the UK and from Brook point of view Bundu can be outboxed and has a high ranking with the IBF.

 

Why don't you think he would want to box khan? I personally think he would jump at the chance! Look if he does manage to beat porter which I doubt but if he does he's proven he's one the best welterweights in the world and khans a winnable fight for him plus outside of may or pac it's easily the biggest payday he ll get in the weightclass.

 

Yep,saw it mate. The man he beat was as tough as old boots. Guerrero is more used to those kind of scraps,and I think might have a bit of reach on Kell. We obviously differ,but I see that as no easy fight. Also I think Khan would have had it tougher if he'd picked Guerrero last time,which had been mentioned.

 

Fully agree with this. Both Khan and Brook have never had a problem with thinking they could beat the other. Brook if he beats Porter would,I think,get a massive upsurge in confidence. If in the {unlikely I think} event of a Brook win Saturday and Khan not getting Mayweather I think it would be absolutely nailed on. If Khan gets Mayweather,hell retire after losing,but otherwise I reckon theres a 50 50 chance of Brook/Khan. At Bramall Lane.

 

Khan would surely have to fight him.

He couldn't claim to be ahead of Kell as he is yet to beat a top ten 147 fighter.

Even a win over Alexander if they fight is not comparable to beating Porter.

 

If it does happen I can't see it happening until the Summer of 2016. Khan's talking about fighting a Devon Alexander or somebody in December before the Mayweather fight next year. And I imagine on the back of Froch-Groves that Khan-Brook fight will be a stadium event, but remember Khan does Ramadan so you can forget about next year especially if he gets the Mayweather fight next May. Amir also said Brook will have to beat somebody for a title if they are ever going to fight, so it's no forgone conclusion the fight will ever happen.

 

I definitely agree with your estimate of when it will happen Ryan. I also think theres a strong possibility of Amir at least being long gone by then. So maybe you're right,certainly makes sense.

 

PS. Not totally writing off Alexander in December,but I think it will be a much easier opponent.

 

It will be Khan guaranteed.

would love to see kel get the may sweep stakes ahead of khan after all the big talk , like
