If Brook didn't get a freakish injury what round would he have won?

That's not the fight I saw. Are you sure your TV was on the right channel?

As for it being 'a freakish injury'. He suffered exactly the same type of injury in his previous fight.

You can spin it any way you want to but the fact is that if Brook had been so much of a better boxer then he wouldn't have allowed himself to get punched in the face so much. Look at Ray Leonard and Hagler. Ray had a repaired dislocated retina when he fought Hagler and Hagler is a much better boxer and puncher than Brook. It was Leonard's skill that allowed him to keep his eye out of trouble. Brook's skill level was no better than Spence's and that's why he paid the price. It came down to who wanted it more and it was Spence. Spence was the younger and more determined fighter that night. He was not to be denied. He pressed Brook to his limit, took everything from him and made him submit. Brook could see when he took that knee. He just needed an excuse to quit and the eye was a perfect excuse. You saw how he was acting in the post fight interview, he wasn't blinking or nothing, eye was wide open. To add to that, he was behind on the scorecards when the fight was stopped. Spence just took his measure and beat that ass when you get through talking.

Brook may have survived to lose a decision if he didn't get the injury which was sustained while Spence was taking over the fight.

Correct. 97-92, 95-94 and 96-93. All for Spence.

I am a Brook fan and what I saw was Errol Spence methodically and completely break Brook down.

Freakish injury once I buy it but twice I think is a problem with his head movement taking too many shoots imaging if he continuous fighting every body will go after both eyes he's a damage prone fighter his career is probably over.

This. I still think Spence needs to work on fighting on the backfoot, but Spence demolished Kell. Kell going back to domestic level competition after the Porter fight caught up with him. Looking back fighting Jessie Vargas would've been better for his career than the GGG fight. Spence's reach gave Kell a lot of problems and once Spence stepped up the pace in the later rounds Kell looked like a fish out of water.

Kell also seemed surprised that Spence actually was more accurate in the later rounds. It seemed like Kell's team counted on Spence gassing out in the later rounds.

But he would have been behind after 6 rounds.

The judges scorecards after 6 rounds read :

    57-57
    58-56 for Brook.
    58-56 for Brook.
