either way...it wouldnt suprise me if this fight is slated to go at least 9....i expect loeffler and k2 have a deal in place for gee to carry brook till at least then in order to make everything look legit....then when hes done they feed him eubank in a year or so

The way people are today if Brook lasts then rather than give credit to Brook they will more than likely discredit GGG - see his power isnt special etc etc, but if Brook lasts I'll def. give him a fair amount of credit.

 

try reading again ...I said "they feed him eubank"...as in when golovkin beats brook theyll feed him eubank in the next year

 

you say that...as if its just the "way people are today"....i think you are right in that scenario thats what will most likely happen....but golovkin and his fans will have brought that on themselves....the way they talk about him knocking out ward and beating up kovalev in sparring and him beating up heavyweights in sparring and being this destructive boxing god......it would only be their own fault

 

I do agree that some may be brought on by not just fans but some comments by Team-GGG too (I'l admit I'm a fan myself of GGG but I equally enjoy watching Ward etc) but I do believe that the mindset of alot of people today is to ignore the positives of one fighter and instead criticise the other (chilemba-kova - I hear more people criticise kovalev than praise chilemba, I think its harder for a fighter to get praise at times)

you have to remember....especially around here or other boxing forums....there is a large segment of the posting population who doesnt wanna see ward beat kovalev...in fact many of them would rather see the fight canceled than see ward win.....if ward beats kovalev it makes golovkin look bad in a way......and they dont want the black boxing fans to be able to hold this over their heads the way mayweather was held over their heads for years

so when chilemba makes it a tough night for kova the narrative becomes "kova has lost a step"...in case ward wins they can go back and say "see we told you kovalev was on the decline...you could see it in the chilemba fight"......these guys know that theyre doing...its all very calculated

theres a large segment of the population whos internet egos and internet pride hinge on golovkin
