    Brook beat Porter more convincingly.

Porter took some punishment off Thurman,he went to hospital afterwards.
The only reason Porter would of needed a hospital after his Brook fight was from being squeezed to tightly.

But he clearly won unlike Thurman.

Porter also instigated much of the holding. Can't really complain just because Brook didn't just stand there and let Porter man handle him onto the ropes like Thurman did.

I had it 8-4 for Brooke in a Hug fest. And Thurman 7-5 in an absolute FOTY candidate. I'd say Thurman was more impressive.

Yeah I don't see how anyone could argue with that. The problem is that, pretty reasonably, nobody believes it'll happen anytime soon.

Brook is a ****ing fool anyway, he beats Vargas 99/100, easy route to unified champ status.

Fair enough. I can't remember exactly how I scored Brook vs Porter but 8-4 hug fest sounds about right. Had Thurman vs Porter 5-5 with two rounds even and yes it was a great fight and Thurman impressed me more than he has in any of his other fights.

I think Brook did a better job because he controlled the fight better and more effectively nullified Porter whereas Porter had more success against Thurman imo.

Brook v Thurman is one of the best fights in boxing right now.

Brook v Vargas I'd a good fight but not on that level.

No one would have an issue if Brook sidestepped Vargas for Thurman, that fight
is 1 vs 2. How rare is that these days.

Brook is going to be earning less money to take the Vargas fight than he is worth. Matchroom have offered north of 2 mill to Vargas. To put that in context, his purse against Bradley was 600K. The holdup is to get Brook a fair amount according to Hearn.
