Bud won't beat Canelo, but we've seen bigger upsets

Hagler vs Crawford could be a future discussion. I think Hagler stops him

Mmmmmmm I don't even think Crawford would beat the versions of Mosley, Oscar, and Cotto that Floyd and Pacman fought let alone Hagler. He'll, has Crawford defeated a fighter as good as Meldrick and McGrit?

No. Different style fighters. Even though Crawford is more skilled than Hagler I don't see him hurting Hagler or keeping him off him for 12 rounds

Even Ray Leonard was bigger than Crawford and had much faster hand speed to constantly win exchanges

Why would it change your opinion though?

Canelo and Marvin are obviously nothing alike.

I get the impression it would take far more than that for people to take him over Hagler.

No absolutely not Canelo is not the fighter he once was and hasn't had a stoppage win since 2021.

Crawford is actually taller than Canelo with a 4 inch reach advantage which people keep overlooking.

Hagler is a switch hitter with a much better gas tank and has better footwork than cement feet Canelo two totally different fighters.

We'll have to see - if Crawford literally dominates a better version Canelo than Mayweather beat then who knows?

Even beating Canelo pretty close to his prime IMO way above your natural weight is a great feat.

What I feel did also hurt Crawford's legacy a bit was how inactive he has been in basically his prime years - fighting once a year really.

I wouldn't favor Bud over Ennis at 154 right now,,, much less beating Canelo at 168lbs.
