Youre out to lunch if you think Bud loses to all or even of those guys. He beats them all and might beat Floyd and Manny as well.

 

For me Hagler was simply too big for Crawford, maybe Crawford with his class and his ring IQ could have won the first rounds, but then the greater power of the Marvelous would have emerged, so I say Hagler by tko inside the 10th round.

'Style makes fights' is a great truth in boxing but two fighters must belong to the same weight category, otherwise it is an unequal challenge. For me Crawford is a better fighter than Canelo (the Mexican is a champion, Bud a great champion, like Hagler) but I would be really very surprised if Canelo did not win in September. This is my opinion.

I'm not sure where beating Canelo became the gateway to being competitive with or belonging mentioned in the same breath as Hagler.

Mayweather shut out Canelo in a clean 12-round sweep, IMO. Mayweather is an unholy terror head to head at welter and under, but doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell vs. Hagler at middleweight.

Golovkin deserved the nod over Canelo in their first two meetings. Hagler beats GGG h2h and is comfortably at least a spot or two above him on the middleweight ATG list.

Bivol defeated Canelo, and I don't think even he beats Hagler in a hypothetical 168lb contest.

Defense, combination punching, punch selection, footwork, timing, ring iq as well if you want to count that.
