Ennis, Fundora and Vergil Ortiz are all good fights for Crawford. I'm just not sure how much interest he has. He's only fought once a year since 2019 and he's only getting older.

If he won I'm not sure those fights wouldn't interest me I'd want him to stay at 168 or at least 160

There is no rematch Crawford's way in the contract. But I suspect there will be one Canelo's way. If that is the case, and Crawford wins, there will be a rematch.

I know but I think if Canelo loses he'd want to run it back there would be another big pay day for Crawford

Yeah. Dropping a lot of weight has NOT been good for anyone in the ring.

Assuming Bud wins, I'm more curious at what weight he would fight at next.

    Would he rematch Canelo?
Would he move to MW or even back down to JMW to unify? Only 2 fights or so needed to unify. Imagine, just for a moment, being undisputed at 140, 147, 154, and 168. Unprecedented beyond unprecedented w wins over Porter, Spence, Gamboa, Postol, Canelo, Ortiz/Fundora/Thurman, and/or Murdervaliev...and in that bunch he takes Gamboa, Postol, Spence, Ortiz, Thurman, Murdervaliev zero??? Unprecedented beyond unprecedented.

I have Canelo winning so none of that happens but just imagine...

If he wins he’s retiring unless it’s a rematch with Canelo. I would love to see other fights but for him it doesn’t make sense for him career wise. You have to retire after a high like that.

This question has been asked to Crawford repeatedly earlier this year.

He and his camp have said that they have had zero talks of retiring. Crawford himself said he will go out on his own terms but has hinted to going down to 160 or even 154....

No one on this board can give an accurate assessment on Crawford's path beyond what was already told to us by Crawford and his team.

Getting paid always makes sense. Floyd fought after the Manny fight. And it's not like he was in need of income. Crawford has shot down the talks of retirement repeatedly. I'm not sure why fans are forcing the subject.

Honestly, I still would love for him to beat up Charlo and/or Thurman.....that's just me. When ever he chooses to hang up the gloves though, I see him still being a heavy part of the sport as he is mentoring and/or training a lot of young talent within his camp.

Honestly, if Crawford wins this weekend. I don't see him staying at 168lbs. He made the jump for Canelo. I don't think he plans to campaign there. 160 maybe 154.....
