How many years ago was that? He wants to unify all the belts at 160 then move up. Isn't anything wrong with that. Hagler never left 160. Didn't hurt him one bit. How long did Hopkins stay at 160 and fight bums like Robert Allen 3 times, Carl Daniels, and Howard Eastman? 15 years?

Wasn't this nonsense issued from the lips of a known public liar. A liar even more lip-lab worthy than Marco Polo, Casanova, and Donald Trump.

How does Bumlovkin get any closer to unifying @ 160 by fighting guys coming up from 147?

Maye because the guy who he was a Mandatory to dropped the belt and ran like a coward? He has a Mandatory with Jacobs then can go over to the UK and fight Saunders. He will then have all the belts which has always been his goal (just like it was Hopkins goal) and he can move up to 168. He doesn't need Canelo to do that.

Belts are almost worthless at this point.

The type of challenges taken (belt or no belt) is what defines a fighter.

May be the only explaination for it, given a boxer your attracted too an erotic nickname like that would make total sense if you were YMCA inclined

And Canelo wasn't willing to take the challenge. The one challenge he did take he lost every single round.

Because his Mandatory chickened out and wouldn't fight him so he had time for an optional fight. How do you not understand this? GGG isn't running from his mandatory it is up to Jacobs to either fight GGG or drop his trinket belt. That is how this game works. Canelo decided to be a ***** and drop the belt.

Whoa! Look at this old chestnut from Floyd's unemployed basement-dwelling nuthuggers. This is a beauty:

"WHO exactly has [Poochiao/Bumlovkin] beat to deserve a fight with [Floyd/Canelo]???"

I'm so glad these losers can extend their internet existences by finding a new fighter to hate, since real life is obviously not working out for them so well.

He only has to fight Saunders who in case you missed it released a video from his Trailer Park saying he now is ready. Why should GGG sit around and wait on Canelo or Saunders and not make any money? It is like you are a Boxing novice or something. Why in the hell did Canelo say he was going to fight GGG then instead dropped the belt and in order to "prepare for fighting at 160" moved DOWN to 154 to fight some Glass Jawed Brit? How did that prepare Canelo for what Oscar said he was going to do which is fight at 160?
